What we need...... Please read through this check list *************Back to main page |
(a) several photographs of the area to be landscaped taken from different perspectives e.g. front or side aspect.....from the left and right angle shots. The shots should have enough depth of field to allow our landscape modifications. The other extreme is being too far away; e.g. if you take the front of the property try to include as much as possible even include the footpath.
We can create additional space if need be to illustrate our design.....Do your best check the sample images for reference! Please make sure the shots are in a common web format like GIF or JPG and standard photo size (150mm x 100mm) or (6" x 4" imperial) or bigger. Our aim is to return a high quality product which we can't if the supplied quality is of a poor standard*
(b) We also need the approximate size of the area in yards or meters, no need to be down to the last millimetre.. Just step it out. The distance in from the fence can be important if it's close, particularly if it's a side boundary.
(C) The aspect of the property can be important in some cases, whether it faces to the north or south etc. generally this doesn't have influence on our design but it can be important when it comes to plant selection. Because there is so much variation with soil types and local climate considerations it's important to obtain knowledge form a nurseryman in your locale.
(D) We need to be able to gauge the lie of the land wheter it is flat sloping etc., whether it slopes from front to back side to side (sometimes photographs can be deceptive)
(e) we like to have some idea of your preferences in your choice of garden style e.g. Formal style... (generally geometric), Tropical (leafy closely planted) Floral (mainly flowering plants) Water garden (lily or fish ponds/fountains,waterfalls) Rock gardens or a Mixed garden(more random less organised) Please tell us if you would like a particular feature in a particular section of the garden e.g. Pergola Waterfall Fish or Lily Pond. The more information we receive the better
